Not So Much with the Hope

I generally avoid political art - while I pay a great deal of attention to politics, it's not something I exactly enjoy.  But the recent election cycle was...remarkable...and the outcome left me with some very strong feelings I've been wanting to express in ways other than Facebook rants or ulcers.

So I came up with this idea a couple days ago, and a little Google searching suggested no one had really done anything quite like it, so I went ahead and made it myself.  Hence, here is my version of Shepard Fairey's 2008 Obama "Hope" image, but reflecting today's President-elect.

I used a photo taken by Gage Skidmore in 2015 at CPAC as my reference.  And I've also put this up for sale on TeePublic!
